One of my favorite native Ohio butterflies. When I was a kid we used to buy the caterpillars at Franklin Park Conservatory. We'd watch them eat all the food in their tiny cup, create a cocoon, then emerge as beautiful butterflies. It was so fun to release them outside after watching the metamorphosis.
